Capabilities

The rim is the path.

Consulting and program management are the rim that holds the work: engineer it, design it to run, prove it, start the run, then scale it. The drawing is one cut. The path is the work.

Consulting & Program Management

The big picture: engineering, DFM, prototype, LRIP, manufacturing, and production. One partner who stays on the part until it is real.

Mechanical design

SolidWorks from first sketch through production drawings. Assemblies that fit the first time they are built.

Design for manufacture

Tolerances, tooling, materials, and process chosen together so the drawing is something a partner shop can actually run.

Prototype & prove

Print and machine through craftsmen Durinrim works with. Inspect here. Go/no-go gauges, check fixtures, and the honest loop between the model and the part.

LRIP

Low-rate initial production: the first honest run. Tooling, yield, and the drawings that survive contact with a real floor.

Manufacturing & production

Release packs, DFM notes, and a partner still on the call when the run scales. Ballistics, oilfield, retail, prototype.

How it runs

Listen. Draw. Cut. Prove. Release.

  1. 01

    Listen

Constraints first. What has to fit, what has to last, what a shop can actually hold. The real problem is rarely the one in the first email.

  2. 02

    Draw

Paper, then CAD. Sections, fits, the load path. A sketch is a question. A model is an argument. This is the in-house work.

  3. 03

    Cut

Partner craftsmen print it, machine it, hold it. Durinrim stays on the drawing until the first part tells the truth.

  4. 04

    Prove

Durinrim inspects, gauges, revises. If it is not measurable it is not finished.

  5. 05

    Release

Production pack: drawings, BOMs, DFM notes. Then it leaves and goes to work.
